Bryony Lloyd has several years experience in the area of international project management and support, at HAPI and also previously at the Department of Health.

Bryony is currently project manager for two EU funded projects at HAPI:

- PROGRESS: Working for Equity in Health

- DAPHNE: Comparing sexual assault interventions

In addition, Bryony’s experience has included:

  • Organising international conferences and high level meetings

  • Organising inward and outward study visits

  • Facilitating technical assistance programmes

  • Participating in international missions and reporting processes

 

Bryony was the UK National Focal Point for the European Commission Public Health Programme for 2 years, and has knowledge and experience of the funding application and assessment process at EU level.  Bryony has also been the national lead on pan-European projects, such as DETERMINE: A project to share international learning on effective ways to address the social determinants of health.

Bryony has experience working on technical assistance projects in the Caribbean and Slovenia.

Bryony has studied health promotion and prevention at the University of Manchester and is working towards an MSc in Public Health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.

Bryony has developed project management tools in respect to organising international events.
