Promoting action on non-communicable diseases
The HAPI team, in close collaboration with one of our partners, the National Heart Forum, has supported the production of two series of papers on non-communicable diseases (NCDs) in low and middle income countries. This has helped to raise the profile of NCDs as part of the growing burden of disease, and identify practical and cost-effective action. A first series of papers and global meeting were held, with a second series and identification of progress currently being planned.
